Terms of use
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Total IT Experience Ltd (company number [company number], registered office [registered office address]) about your use of Prepwise. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Academies may also sign a separate agreement, which takes priority if the two differ.
1. The service
Prepwise provides practice questions, mock papers, worksheets and progress information for subjects such as 11+ and GCSE Maths. We may improve, change or remove features, and we will try to give notice of changes that matter.
2. Accounts
- Parent accounts must be created by someone aged 18 or over. A parent can add up to 3 children unless we agree a higher limit with you.
- Children use the service under the supervision of the parent or academy that created their account.
- Academy accounts are created by us for an academy. The academy's owner decides who its staff are and what each role may do, and is responsible for what its staff do.
- Keep passwords and PINs private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been misused.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You must not copy, scrape, resell or publish our questions or other content; share accounts outside your family or academy; try to get around security or limits; upload anything unlawful or harmful; or use the service in a way that disrupts it or other users.
4. Academies
An academy must have a lawful basis to give us its learners' information, must tell learners and guardians how it is used, and must have told guardians before it switches on progress emails. The academy is the controller of its learners' information and we are its processor (see our privacy policy). Academy-created papers and questions remain the academy's content, and the academy confirms it has the right to use them.
5. Content and results
We work hard on accuracy, but practice questions can contain mistakes, and exams change. "Working at" grades and bands are indicative guides based only on a child's answers on Prepwise. They are not official grades, predictions or guarantees of any exam result.
6. Fees
Some features may be free while we test the service. If we introduce charges we will tell you the price and billing terms before you pay, and you will always be able to decline. Academy fees are set out in the academy's agreement.
7. Our rights in the service
We and our licensors own the service, its design and our content. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it for its intended purpose while your account is active.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may suspend it for maintenance or security.
9. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for exam outcomes, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if you paid nothing).
10. Ending your account
You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where reasonable. Parents can delete a child's data from their dashboard, and academies can delete learners from theirs.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and tell account holders where we reasonably can. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
12. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, although consumers may also have rights to bring claims where they live. Contact us at aijazazeesh@gmail.com.
